Santa Clara County Green Business
Program
Page Updated on 7/10/2007
The Bay Area Green
Business Program publicly recognizes businesses that operate
in an environmentally responsible way. Free guidelines, resources
and assistance are provided to help participating businesses
in making environmental improvements to achieve compliance,
conserve resources, reduce waste and prevent pollution. Green
Businesses benefit from cost savings through increased efficiencies
and local and regional promotions, including logo rights for
their own use.
Currently offered in Alameda, Contra Costa, Napa, Sonoma, Marin, San Francisco and Santa Clara counties. For more information, visit www.greenbiz.abag.ca.gov.
Susanne Wilson Environmental Achievement / Business Environmental
Network Awards
In 2001 the Susanne
Wilson Awards program merged with the Business Environmental
Network's (BEN) Business Environmental Awards program.
Together these prestigious
programs have recognized over 130 companies and organizations
in Santa Clara County and the greater South Bay area. We expect
this merger to provide a stronger, more effective Awards program
for our stakeholders and our community. For more information
about the current awards program or an application visit www.Acterra.org/bea.
