July 14, 2009 - Effective 7/1/2009 an additional $25 State Electronic Reporting Surcharge applies to all facilities required to pay the existing $24 State Unified Program Surcharge.
This increase is for 3 years, and will be used for the development and implementation of the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS). Unified Program Agencies may bill the electronic reporting surcharge as an additional $25 invoice line item or combine the two State surcharges in a single invoice line item totaling $49. Details. |

Effective 9/22/2009 The Unidocs HMOIP will be retired. It will become the new California Environmental Reporting System (CERS), managed by CalEPA. Be sure to update your HMOIP user profile before the change date so all facility data you have entered transfers to CERS and you can use the new system.

On 1/1/2009, the City of Palo Alto transferred regulation of UST systems to Santa Clara County CUPA. All other programs handled by Palo Alto Fire Dept. remain unchanged.
Mandatory electronic reporting of Unified Program Consolidated Form (UPCF) data will be required by 1/1/2013. Details.
